莊喆　1934年生

1948年遷居台灣，國立台灣師範大學藝術系畢業。

曾任教於東海大學、國立藝術學院，五月畫會成員。

1964年應邀參加李鑄晉教授在美國籌辦「中國山水畫的新傳統」畫展。

1973年赴美國密西根州安那堡、專習繪畫，擅長抽象山水題材。

曾獲香港國際美術沙龍金牌獎、中國畫學會金爵獎等。

作品潢於美國、加拿大、德國、巴西、中國、香港及台灣等地展出。

1988年移居紐約州揚克市。
