創作自述
.....從種子的採集，我漸漸認識大自然裡生命延續的法則與生長循環的時序。當我靜心細觀大自然，那怕是一粒種子或一朵小花，它的色澤形體與構造都叫人讚嘆不已。我在1996年以「大地巡防」的方式，親近大自然採到更多樣的種子後，終於萌生要辦一場「野宴」，以大地豐富的菜餚來宴請市民。...與自然對話是我長年創作的主要思想體系，過去如是，將來也必定繼續走下去。 -黃步青
From gathering seeds, I started to learn the principles of reproduction and the other of development in nature, As I carefully ibserved nature, I would be amazed by even a small seed or a tiny flower, by its color, shape, and stricture. In 1996, I began patrolling the field to get closer to nature and gather more seeds, and thought of making a 〝Feast in the Wild〞to invite people for a feast on earth’s delicious food…… The dialogue with nature has been and will still be major theme of my work. -Hwang Buh Ching
